and it's a win vs. Pitt by 8.
Not much good to take from that game. Poor rebounding, poor 1/2 court offense, poor shooting, poor interior defense.
Take it & move on IMO.

Yep not too many positives tonight. Scoop was really good, Waiters was solid, FT shooting was great, other than that, meh.

Fab.. 10, 10 and 6.. we missed some easy ones and clearly were playing 5 on 8 at times.. Pitt played like a very desperate team.. confident they could steal one from a team they have owned

Marshall was much worse. Stanford was awful until the end. Pitt is just a bad match up for us.

I like that a close game for us is now an 8 point win.

I can get used to this.
Never felt uncomfortable at all either. Even Pitt got it to 4 or 5, it still felt like we had this game in hand. We were just playing with them it seemed like.

It's funny, for a lot of the game I thought Melo looked weak, getting rebounds almost taken out of his hands.

But come the end of the game he had put up great numbers. It was a nice game from him.

It was a pretty stark contrast when Keita came in. Pitt's last big run was basically the time Melo was on the bench. It's amazing how important Melo has made himself in one season.

- We have gone cold from 3pt range; KJ, BT and James all at once
- Brandon in particular isn't giving us much if he isn't scoring from 3, which I think is the cause for the recent reduced mins
- Dion hasn't been finishing at the hole well last couple games and appears to be looking to 'get his' a little
- Getting killed on the boards. KJ is giving us nothing, CJ just seems outsized on defensive boards but can get the offensive ones somehow.
- Baye seems to have regressed a little lately, needs to stop fouling so much.
- Melo has been horrific finishing bunnies. Scoop should have had 15 assists tonight.
- Thankfully Scoop playing his best ball of the season last two games

They're not all gonna be 20 point blowouts. The season is long. I'd rather peak in two months than now so a minor rough patch doesn't bother me. Gives us things to work on. We have a target on our back. All games are going to be tough. Next two road games in particular.

This was one of our 5 "bad" games that people say every team plays. Still won.
