Wow Louisville. Up 18-2

18-2

UL is hitting their jumpers and doing damage from the three point line where they are 4 of 6 so far. You cant question the talent on that team and I knew it would be only a matter of time before Pitino figures out how to get the most out of his team this year. They will get better and better as the season progresses. I cant wait to play them...should be a good one (two).

I know its silly but Lunardi has 8 BE teams in the field. He has 3 in SU's region. Including Marquette.

The way Marq looks, I'm not sure they'll get past the play-in round

Seems to be Marquette's new M.O. Get down huge at the start of the game, then turn it into a scramble drill trying to get back into it. Almost worked against us, did work against Pitt. But I think Louisville thrives on that scramble-ball style too so it might be a little tougher for them today.

Just noticed that. Ridiculous. Properly spacing out 11 teams is tough...but 8? That shouldnt be a problem. His bracket this week is terrible. Anyone know who is head of the selection committee this year? Im hoping its not that OSU clown again.

wow marquette goes 32-12 since and takes 34-30 lead into halftime. that team is super streaky.

Wonder if Louisville will pack it in or fight back in the 2nd half.

Just looked it up...the head of this year's selection committee is Xavier's AD. Sucks for Cincinnati. :D

I'm wrong. Xavier's AD is head of the committee NEXT YEAR. This year's head is Hathaway from UConn...who is required to dismiss himself from the meeting every time a BE team is discussed.

Good. We are more likely to get favorable treatment from ACC reps than from him.

even a 16 point lead is not safe...Good W by Marquette.

Only one rep from the ACC (and why would they help anyways? our credits will still belong to the BE). Here is a complete list of the committee this year:

Jeff Hathaway (UConn, sort of)
Mike Bobinski (Xavier AD)
Ron Wellman (Wake Forest AD)
Scott Barnes (Utah State AD)
Dan Beebe (Big 12 commissioner)
Steve Orsini (SMU AD)
Joe Alleva (LSU AD)
Lynn Hickey (Texas-San Antonio AD)
Doug Fullerton (Big Sky commissioner)
Jamie Zaninovich (WCC commissioner).
