Friends: Calvin Russell is not flipping because Syracuse is struggling this season. I'm so tired of people saying that on here and on social media. He's well aware of the team's struggles, and the team's young roster, and the team's issues at quarterback. Knock on wood - Angeli is back next season, in full health, who knows what SU will do in the portal come January, and Calvin committed to SU because of his - and his family's - relationship with Fran Brown. So unless Fran is leaving (not happening at this point), Calvin is coming to SU. He's signing in early December and expected to enroll in January. Okay, I'll stop with my rant. Lol. What I’m talking about is Syracuse going 3-9 isn’t going to make Calvin Russell and 20 other kids decommit. Fran isn’t getting fired. If he left on his own or was fired, we would lose a ton of guys. Neither will happen so we aren’t going to have some mass decommit festival happening.
