seems to be alot of complaints..

too many late hits on the QB.. he got hit a bunch thats for sure.. not sure how many were really late, if they had called a couple we probably would have been just as upset, most of them smith was falling back as he threw, i didnt really see one that was blatant

the block in the back on the kickoff.. only one that looked close was by Daibate, but as block was started on the shoulder and the WV kid spun on the block thats not a penalty.

holding.. wanted a bunch of holding calls. that would have been fine with me if we had had a few called as long as they had called the 10 they didnt on WV. held jones and Marinovich all night.
one team was running 4-5 sec pass plays with deep drops one team short 3 step throws, you dont tend to get many holding calls on such short plays

the PF on WV that led to a td.. not sure what happend but it looked like the WV should have gotten a call for dumping hay way before the call then whatever happened late the head Ref called. did anyone really see what Hay did to get his call?

PI calls, by my count this missed 5 PI calls on WV, a couple we still caught, one at the end of the half on provo was awful probably would have gotten us out to the 50 had he not been held by the LB. Stevens with a min to go was not called and gave WV a late shot as we.. there was so much bumping by the rcvrs/dbs hard to really call all those with so much contact.

the offsides call on Su hurt on the one drive watched a couple times pretty schetchy call..

12 men on the field should have been called.. on the flip side Dm was calling for TO 4-5 secs and that was ignored as well , kind of a wash if the ref calls the TO the 12 men never happens.

the one where austin took a dive on the sideline. guys running all over , there was contact but not sure it was more than guys just running into each other and one trying to get a penalty for flopping. the other WV ran right thru the contact without a problem. fine then call the one where graham took a shot on the WV sideline.. another wash.

blows to the head? did anyone see those?

Refs didn't cause WVU to lose by 26 points.

Perhaps if WVU was allowed to play 17 on 11, instead of the traditional 11 on 11, then they might have kept it closer.
