Xmas eve or xmas?

Xmas eve blows away tomorrow and i have 2 kids.

In our family Christmas eve was the big turkey dinner and dinner with the relatives who brought cool presents
Christmas Day was leftovers

Celebrating the eve with some Crater Lake Vodka distilled in Bend and a big pot of lobster stew

With all the anticipation...the EVE rocks

The total calorie number at parents right now is close to 2 million

Let's see...

Christmas Eve

Running around finishing shopping, wrapping hiding from the family, baking deserts, prepping the next days meal, and everything else.

Christmas

Up early, unwrapping and cleaning up the trash, actually cooking the dinner, and dealing with the inlaws and all the family I hate with a passion.

Wow this is closer than I would have guessed,

I guess I vote Christmas, because presents and at the end of the day, it's all over.

12/26 for the win, day off relaxing and just enjoying the new gifts. Best of all three days IMO

You know he wasn't really born on the 25th of December, right? Just saying.

Not sure what that has to do with the subject, but if it makes you feel better I will agree and say that Christ was not born on December 25

Each has it's own food merits
My mom, following tradition, had more fish/seafood than any normal/sane person should consume last night.
Today we are roasting a prime dry aged prime rib and serving it with a Honig cabernet.

Either way by the end of dinner tonight, I will be well over Marsh's 2 million calories

Ok, you win. we didnt have the chicken or the sausage bread!
But, more importantly, did she steam the shellfish in PBR?
Merry Christmas!

I used to like Christmas better, but you can't find a Chinese restaurant that's open in Syracuse anymore on Christmas day, so it has changed our tradition. (In NYC, most Jews go out to the movies and eat Chinese food on Xmas ...) We used to do a big seafood dinner (usually Alaska King Crab legs) on Christmas Eve. This year we had to reverse the order (movie and Chinese on Xmas Eve), and somehow, it just wasn't quite as fun.

Tomorrow will be the best day of the season. Fresh off of a Houston bowl win I will be at the 'Nova game with some hooligans. Followed by a family party that will certainly get out of hand. Men will die (a little bit on the inside.)

christams day, prime rib, mannicoti, etc
