4th down conversions have led to 533 yards and 85 points. 11% and 28% of their totals, respectively.
Not going for those knocks them down to 419 yards per game which would be 50th in the country
a lot of those drives would've been out of FG range when they went for it
it's too bad that we're having this 4th down breakthrough in a year where the offense isn't that great and the schedule is so hard because this is HUGE difference.
all it takes was a little obvious math and they go from 419 to 472 yards per game
they can go for it more, actually.
when we get our offense up to 472 on its own, thrown in the 40 yards we get from 4th downs and we're at 512. that's WVU territory
