We started that game down 14-0 on Big Monday, but came back and completely dominated them the last 30 minutes and won by 17.

Yesterday we fell behind 25-7 and out-scored them 71-37. If Jay Wright didn't extend this game we likely win by 7-11, but having his team hack us to death made it a 16 pt win. Thank goodness the East regional is in MSG this year and not the Dome like 2010. If we have to go Buffal0-MSG to reach the Final Four this year I promise not to complain about all the NCAA regionals always in NC for Duke and UNC.

You're right, a lot of similarities. I also thought it was very similar to our 2003 2nd round game against Oklahoma State.

And in reverse, it was similar to our 2005 game at Pitt where we got out to a huge 22-5 lead, and Pitt stormed back and won going away.

We extended that run against Georgetown in the return game, jumped out to a 12 or 14-point lead on them a month later.

That 2005 Pitt game was painful.
