I was lucky enough to see the Kinks a few times back in the day. Of the many artists I've seen, Ray Davies had the most commanding and mesmerizing stage presence of all.
 
Saw these guys at the Martin Kapell theater in Norwich. Unbelievable show. It was in like an old high school auditorium during the early evening. A bunch of families sitting there politely taking it in.

Meanwhile my wife and I are in the corner bouncing off the walls, calling out requests! Haha

Talked to a few of the guys before and after the show. Very nice ppl.

they are great & donna can really slap the upright, but i don't think she's the right vocalist for this genre. she needs more of a growl. bob, the rhythm guitarist, has the vocal goods

Guys, I just heard a song that I thought the original couldn't be beat. And boy was it. Sounds of Silence by disturbed. Wow.
