At the rate Fran is going, he is going to change the narrative that we are a developmental only program quite quickly.

In all seriousness if we win 10, sneak into the playoff and get 5 or so kids (most likely some transfers and OG) drafted… the rest of the country will be on notice that Fran Brown is coming for your talent.

This is probably the reality. There is a reason wingspan and length is one of the most coveted thing in the trenches for NFL teams. Fran wants elite size and length on the line, which will help us out tremendously in the long run overall

Honestly at this rate we will have 2025 filled by start of the season and half 2026 by seasons end so it seems. So the thing that sucks is at some point all the fun of superstars committing will become fewer and farther between instead of in the insane droves since Fran started.

Always good to get the QB out there. We know other recruits will be there, either committed or uncommitted guys, and having the QB in the fold and there to start bonding with the guys is going to make a difference, it always does

Very hard to beat big fellas like that once they learn leverage and balance. Not a surprise Fran wants elite speed on the perimeter and tons of size on the interior of the field.

It’s a lot easier when they have access and the opportunity to be great, and make no mistake, Fran is encouraging all aspects of the program to elevate themselves to greatness.

It’s also a more professional approach. In the league, you don’t say crap like owie and boo boo. You say “dude has a broken foot” going to be out “X length of time” and we start working on life without the guy. It’s just another way of showing our program is emulating more of a “pro style”...

It’s setting everyone up for the “next phase” of their football careers. wanna be a professional player? You’ve got to give interviews and be comfortable on camera and in front of a microphone. want to be a coordinator? Gotta give press conferences. Wanna be a head coach? Gotta be damned good...

He obviously hasn't seen what we've got going on in Cuse these days. If Fran wants him, he will stay on him and hope to open his eyes to the possibilities after a fast start this fall.

Whatever we are doing at practice, it’s clearly impressing the heck out of recruits. What are we up to 5 commits since practice started at the end of the week? Including a potential QB of the future? Keep it up FB and Co.

There is also more to football than straight long speed. there arent that many 6’2” DBs out there with the athletic potential we like. kid from our back yard with a chance to grow with us is obviously an important take for Fran. If Fran didn’t believe in him, he wouldn’t be committed right now...

I think that’s the first time I’ve actually heard him speak. I was really surprised by how soft spoken he is. Loved him talking about essentially wanting to teach the young guys what they need to know to step up on the field. Exciting times.

I get the sense Fran has a pretty good sense of what a guy needs to hang with the type of talent he wants. If he’s giving him a fully committable offer, it’s because he believes he can play.

And I presume if Fran wants to keep Nick here in 2-3 years, it will require a promotion to do so.

My prediction for coach Nick is that he is our next DC after E Rob ends up getting a HC gig.

Based on his split he’s got average (for this class) acceleration, but his long speed is an issue. Might mean he has to try and make it as a safety, or ST wizard. Hopefully he can get those times down a tenth by pro day.

That is kind of crazy. Big men don't usually run the 100m, and while obvious it's not the countries fastest racers of the 100m he is running against, he is flying by some people, and honestly he is booking it, would not want to be in his way.

That’s the dude I wanted to give a chance to. What he’s done both recruiting and coaching up WRs at OSU is insane. that said Fran has a plan that is doing damned impressive things already, he deserves full support in who he wants coaching these kids.

No no, let him stay. We wouldn’t want them to accidentally stumble into a good hire. Just let Fran and Co get total control of the area first.
