Saw him play the Born in the USA record at the final Giants Stadium shows. Because of the pop song it sorta gets a bad rap. Hearing it cover to cover was fantastic. Think he has a lot of gems in the 21st century releases, but a lot of bloat on some of those records.

I think silent auctions are going by way of the history books. It's mostly stuff people fluff off that's a hassle to deal with.

Smith isn't the best shooter for sure. He's is an absolute frightening defender, will guard a kid in the parking lot and push him into the street.

Gait has these guys the furthest thing from scared, they believe they can do great things. And have won some insane games the last two years by doing the exact opposite of playing tight. It's a laborious 60 minute game. Can always be cleaner...

It's spilled milk but him leaving Loyola seemed kinda random. If recruiting hits the skids then yeah - same for all our teams. Cuse is way tougher to recruit for than people realize. Gait is a bit of an equalizer for that.

This sport is just way too variable. A bad day at the dot, a couple of dumb turnovers, pipe and whistle is the difference in so many of these games. I agree it would be a great disappointment if this junior class never makes it to Memorial Day weekend.

What's the alternative - hire Galloway? The difference in talent with all these teams is pretty minimal unless there's a CJ Kirst out there.
