when you're not that great in yards per play, you can get extra plays by being smart on 4th down

this is a partial explanation for how the offense can gain so many yards while not actually being that good

just wait until we can block and run a little bit

You can see the improvement happening before our very eyes, we're just not quite there from a personnel standpoint. Yet.

If we can somehow claw our way to a bowl, just imagine what this coaching staff will be able to accomplish on the recruiting trail.

just 2 years ago we avg 63 plays and allowed 71

now we 86 and allow 68

so those who say tempo creates more possessions and skews the stats, how to we explain more plays by us and less plays by the Opp?
its not just possessions that causes more plays you have to do something with them as well. Some how we are allowing less plays by the D which is great if you run more plays on offense

from -8 to + 18 at 26 play swing and we know the offense is not nearly where they want it..
