not a bad movie. its not saving private ryan, but it moves along pretty well. from some who know the details its pretty true to the story, some extra hollywood glammer and a few tactics that were somewhat over the top.

Just got back from seeing it. Definitely a solid war movie, even if it didn't really push the envelope of the genre at all. In way though, with the emphasis on showing tons of gore and the PTSD side of things in modern war films, it was kind of refreshing to NOT have those elements shoehorned into the story.

It's pretty cool that the character Rob Riggle plays was his real-life former commanding officer when he served in Afghanistan.

This was another worthwhile viewing. Saw it last night and it was intense. I wasn't as captivated with the emotional wallop of Hostiles, but man oh man it does captivate and amaze you with what those heroes accomplished. God bless those guys, was so glad they showed the real guys at the end and I find it just amazing they all made it out of there.

Great popcorn film.
