Nice win for Syracuse. I think we controlled the ball most of the time and had the better play but UNC had some good chances too. Both teams looked like they might have been fouled in the box but for the most part, the refs let the teams play and didn’t call much. Good crowd.

I like this format, having the higher seeded teams play at their home fields. Like having all 4 games played one after another on the ACCN, which is doing a fine job covering this event.

I think the ACC is clearly the best conference for mens soccer.

Clemson won the NC last season and barely made the ACC tourney as the 8 seed.

Cornell is ranked #15 and actually beat Syracuse late in the season. I wonder if those schools could get paired down the road in the NCAA tournament in a rematch?
