2019 Starting Lineup

serious depth issues in 2020 but liking 2019 even before we get all the kids coming in.
Agreed, I would assume a very large 2020 class. If not there sets up to be some problems given the limited amount of scholarships available for this current class.

I have a buddy who is deployed overseas that has season tickets with me and a few others. He's bumming out a little because he's missed the last two games and will miss Louisville. I told him not to sweat it because he'll be home for next year's undefeated season. I was only half trying to to cheer him up.

First year i was stationed at Fort Drum was the last year before moving to the ACC. My brother and i got season tickets with the hope of having seats locked in for that next year. Was great to get back to going to games but only lasted a year. Cheering from San Antonio, TX currently.

Thank you for your service. Go Orange!

Adams will start.

I also think we see Iffy or Trill starting ahead of Scoop next season. Those 2 are just too talented to not have on the field. Other than that, and Adams, as mentioned by others, looks really good to me!

RT and DT. That's where I need someone to tell me that everything is going to be all right.

2019 is too early to worry about DT, especially if Harper is any good. Black, Ruff, and Williams all see serious game action this season.

I asked Bailey about RT in the chat last week. There's lots and lots of candidates for the job, which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

With the offensive Line: A little worried about OT. I bet Servais makes the permanent move there this spring. Dakota will play guard. Vettorello seems to already pass Clark. Not sure about Pat Davis yet. I wonder if a couple of those red shirt jr.'s take their degree and grad transfer. Do we go after a juco OT? My projection is in bold.

Hope so. I feel like Williams has been invisible this year, and now he's been replaced to start the game by Black. Have to have 4-5 guys who can make an impact each game, not just line up.

Not quite as worried about RT, given the experience & ability of the others around him on the line.

Queeley will be R-Fr., correct?

So many WRs. Seems like that R-So. group is getting passed over by the So and R-Fr's.

Any chance you see any one of iffy/coley/clarke takin over nickel?

Very possible. Trill plays there a lot now and if he isn't starting at CB, he will probably start at nickel. So I just changed that. He is too good to sit.

Yup. Agree, in general, it looks like each class is getting high quality athletes who are using their superior physical attributes to help overcome disadvantages with experience.

I don't have Butler starting. That is probably wrong. Seniors tend to get a lot of PT and touches in this system. Guys like Etta-Tawo, Ishmael and like Custis have all gotten a lot of love their senior seasons. It takes a while to learn all the responsibilities a WR has and become strong enough to beat press coverage consistently. Butler, like Custis, has had some issues most of his career, but I would not be surprised to see him overcome that stuff and have a fine senior season. Whether he starts or not, he will play a lot and get a lot of touches.
