The rule applies to vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals.

Masks are now required indoors for anyone attending an event at the St. Joseph’s Health Amphitheater at Lakeview near Syracuse.

That includes vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals.

The mandate applies only to fully enclosed areas, such as the bathrooms. It does not apply to the partially enclosed seats underneath the venue’s roof or outdoor areas like the lawn.

The new rule took effect last week when Onondaga County Executive Ryan McMahon ordered indoor masks for everyone at all county facilities, county spokesman Justin Sayles said in an email.
