Judging by a comment coach made at the “Dino & Dana” presser earlier today, it sounds like the Schwartzwalder Trophy will be up for grabs in this game.

Coach was saying “this isn’t intrumerals” and that “its fun to play for a trophy”.

Can anyone clarify?

There was a statement early from SU that the trophy was not up for grabs for a bowl game.

If WVU wants that trophy back, they need to get good enough to play us in the college football playoff.

Or convince us to schedule them out of conference.

Or somehow join the ACC.

Didn't hear the presser, but all Bowl games have a trophy. So perhaps he was referring to that?

If WVU wants that trophy back, they need to get good enough to play us in the college football playoff.

Or convince us to schedule them out of conference.

If we go division-less I am all for adding WVU as #15 and stopping. With an 8 game schedule the league could do 2-6-6 instead of 3-5-5. The ACC needs another football Baron level program and the Eers are the most realistic candidate. Won't happen though.

Like OX said the only trophy up for grabs is the Camping World Trophy
