Does anyone know if we are recruiting his sis. She seems to be a legit bball player. I am unsure what grade she is in but a 3.91 GPA and some PG skills should def get a look from Q. It would be awesome to bring the whole family to the promise land as they all seem to be absolutely outstanding people.

Edit:

Class of 2017, already playing varsity.

Edit II:

Track and volleyball too! Robert better watch out as lil' sis might be the better athlete in the fam.;) I can only imagine the family gatherings around the dinner table with the two siblings and Aapri kicking around. Can we take the whole lot please?

Syracuse is recruiting Asia for Track and Field as we speak. She jumped a 17 in LJ as a 9th grader. She's the best athlete in the entire Washington clan.

Asia is the sister of Robert Washington who SU is recruiting for FB.

What other events does she specialize in?

The writing is on the wall

100m, 200m, 400m, LJ, HJ
Youtube clips don't load at work for me or wouldve saw the answers.

Was curious because my oldest son is doing 400, 4x400, and HJ. Sadly only allowed to do 3 events in junior high but he does pentathalon in jr olympics as well.

3 events! I'm so jealous. In my day we could only do two. I had to pass up a trip to the states in the 100 my junior year because my coach wanted to try to make it as a 4x440 team. As a 100/200 guy there was no way I could do them together.

PS, yes I'm old enough where we ran in yards.

It's tough for him because all the coaches, sans shot and discuss, want him. I certainly never had that as I was distance all the way but I'd like to see him run some different distances just to learn how to race them. He's the only viable high jumper and had to turn down the 100 to do it. He also runs the 400 and 4x400 since his coaches seem to favor strong relay teams over a third open event like long jump where he outjumped his top team mate that competes by 2 1/2 feet in practice the other day.

Any track coaches/gurus know why the relays get such strong precedent over open events? I'm truly lost there.

Also, on topic, does anyone know when Ms. Washington might commit?
