There's a bridge in Glenville, near Albany, NY that trucks are hitting constantly because they follow their GPS and apparently either don't pay attention to all of the signs, flashing lights, etc. warning of a low bridge, or they are clueless about how high their truck is.

It's because they're using a car GPS. IIRC, a truck GPS will allow you to put in your height so that it will route you around the low clearance.

Yeah, I think it's suspected that most are probably just using something like Waze or Google Maps instead of a commercial truck GPS.

honestly just run a tube across the road 200 yds in front of the bridge and if a truck hits it FLASHING RED LIGHTS. and if you still don't stop then 3 years in prison. no conjugal.
