This team has improved a ton since the Md, UVA, Duke run. This is without a doubt the weakest defensive team since LR has been here. I think a big part of the problem is that you have an excellent athlete that is still learning the game as your best defender. He's done an excellent job for the most part at minimizing some great attacks, but the team defense is lacking. If Mullins had grown up in Section 3 he would be so much further ahead. SSM is the weakness on this team and that is cascading into every other area on defense.

Would you like the first middie line to be more productive, absolutely, but it's the least of this teams problems.

I guess not! Defense though not great was not that bad. Offense was abysmal, and cost us the game, which is exactly what I said had to be much better. Moving on. Better play next year perhaps.
