Bing joins Jim Boeheim, Jim Brown, Ernie Davis, Floyd Little, Ben Schwartzwalder, Roy Simmons Jr., and Dwayne "Pearl" Washington.

All are Hall of Famers in their respective sports except for Pearl.

I love Syracuse basketball and Dave Bing. I’m glad we honored him.

But on a sidenote, I really can’t stand when they bring somebody into the booth during the game. Interview them before the game, during halftime, instead of a commercial, after the game, whatever. This obsession with doing everything other than broadcasting the game and focusing on the game drives me crazy.

Those two 'old ACC' homers doing the game were awful. It seemed like someone had given them a crash course on who Dave Bing is and what he has accomplished.
