Derek is wrapped up for at least one more year

Sure he will turn forty but this Derek Jeter.A Legend in the mold of the greatest Yankees all time. He has earned the right to be included on sny list of great Yankees ever to have played. Not necessarily the last but not apt to be followed shortly by the next to my knowledge.OK he comes out for 2014 but I have serious doubts about 2015 and certainly anything after that. Unless the $ are so overwhelming to be impossible for him to say no but thats unlikely. He is a playbooy of the first order. and that takes $ even with his fame.
