Get him a line that isn't silly putty and he will be one of the very best in the ACC.

Question is where is that much better line suppose to come from? I said earlier this year he had the potential to be good to great, however that was caveated by a statement that the line had to be good to great. TD is essentially a pocket QB who needs a good pocket to throw from, he is not a particularly good scrambler nor does he throw well on the run, nor does he have the field vision to pick out receivers after the pocket breaks down. He must have the time and protection to survey the field and pick his receiver, he can also occasionally break a good run because he does have some straight line speed.
If I blame anyone for this year it is not TD, but rather coaching, that knowing for two years the type of QB we would have and not having a line developed for that QB to have any real chance at success. Unfortunately we seem to have no real chance for a dominating line next year either, unless some players really make great progress in the off season or we can bring in a couple linemen as a stop gap.
