Disney and ACC “Crush” a New Collaboration – Dr Pepper Named an Official Conference Sponsor

So are the other ACC teams going to get their own soda also?

Disney owns ESPN.

Disney sponsors the ACC Conference.

As long as we keep drinking Dr Pepper, the ACC won't get relegated. ;)
I wonder how this conference-level sponsorship (IIRC Dr. Pepper is owned by Coke) will mesh with the Universities' pouring rights contract with Pepsi.

Dr Pepper is only owned by Coca Cola in its European and South Korean markets. Everywhere else it is sold is managed by the Keurig Dr Pepper company.

Keurig Dr Pepper (NASDAQ: KDP) is a leading beverage company in North America offering hot and cold beverages together at scale. Driven by a broad beverage portfolio of iconic brands including Dr Pepper®, Canada Dry®, Snapple®, Mott’s®, CORE®, as well as the Keurig® brewing system and leading owned brands Green Mountain Coffee Roasters® and The Original Donut Shop®.

Thanks for the info. But even if 'Keurig Dr Pepper' is majority owned by JAB Holdings (familiar initials) rather than Coke, it's still not owned by Pepsico. Pouring rights contracts are usually exclusive to the venue. So it'll be interesting to see if Dr Pepper (a non-Pepsi product) gets sold in the Dome or whether the new sponsorship by Dr Pepper stays at the conference level.

I would have to imagine they are separate things.

I can't believe anyone over 30 drinks any of this stuff. I moved to TN and there is a traffic jam in front of Hardee's every morning while people sit in the drive thru lane to get their "2 candied bacon biscuit for $3.99" and then they drive to the dialysis center. They have dialysis centers in every other strip mall down here...it's unreal what adults will put in their bodies
