I have always thought that SB was a game DM could not afford to lose. If he does, the drumbeat will start and he may not survive. All that progress will go down the drain.
By all means, set the program back 3 years again. Thank goodness fans don't make these decisions.7 wins or he is done (not that he has a prayer of achieving that).
So Doug is the only guy that can take this team to glory? If he leaves it all collapses? That's how good he is?By all means, set the program back 3 years again. Thank goodness fans don't make these decisions.
what is it that cant be replaced or improved on HC DM?By all means, set the program back 3 years again. Thank goodness fans don't make these decisions.

We *need* Marrone to be the guy. An alum, who wants to be here (there), at a small, private university. Like I said, it's a perfect storm for SU right now. A little coaching stability will go a long way for the ACC move. He's hasn't been perfect, but imagine if we got a new coach heading into the ACC and he sucked? It would probably take longer to dig out of the bottom than it did with GRob.
Game 3, after a win, and it's like chicken little up in this piece. Can't you people at least wait until the Minnesota outcome? FFS.
Hunh?
That Marrone is an alumn is of 0 consequence. this line of thinking in defending Marrone is a logical fallacy.
If SU sucks in the ACC, it won't suck less if an alumn is who guides us to the suckage.
Coaches a revolving door.
