Doubtful.
But, on the other hand, I've never understood why so-called "extortion" without any threat of violence should be illegal in the first place.
Clearly Murdoch had every right to make the video public as he did.
So why should it be a crime for him to tell Rutgers he won't make it public if they pay him $900K?
That's just the price for his cooperation.
In any case...another shoe is going to drop when Robert Morris releases its "report" (probable whitewash) on how they allowed this kook to coach and what his reign was like there.
