Reeves came in under-recruited out of Palmyra-Macedon (N.Y.). He had the numbers, with 278 goal and 307 assists, but he was overlooked for players from powerhouse programs. Initially committed to Hobart, he caught the eye of Shay at the Under Armour Upstate tryouts at the same time the Statesmen had a coaching change. He switched to Yale between his junior and senior years of high school.

Good catch OE, I remember reading Hobart fans bemoaning the loss for quite sometime but it slipped my mind. That's a bad beat if your Hobart.
