ACC Digital Network experts unanimously pick Central Michigan over Syracuse
this is somewhat surprising isnt it? even if we are bad do they think CMU is good off of those 2 wins?

Syracuse football assistant coach Tim Daoust is all too familiar with Central Michigan and MAC football (PS: Axe)

It's hard to run into a coach on the Syracuse University football staff that has not coached in the Mid-American Conference.

Of the many coaches with MAC experience, SU Assistant Head Coach/Defensive Line Coach Tim Daoust is the only one to have spent time in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan coaching on the staff of Syracuse's next opponent, the Central Michigan Chippewas...

COLLEGE PARK -- Maryland head coach Randy Edsall brought starting senior quarterback C.J. Brown into his office on Tuesday morning before practice in College Park.
Following Brown’s inaccurate performance in a victory over James Madison in Week 1 and a turnover-plagued victory over South Florida in Week 2, there’s something still not 100 percent right with the sixth-year player under center.
The conversation was brief, but the point was clear.
“You just gotta let it go, man,” Edsall recalls saying to his quarterback. “Just let it go and have fun.”
There have been two distinct sets of problems for Brown through two weeks. His inaccuracies, missing open receivers, against James Madison was glossed over by the fact that he ran the football so well, scoring three touchdowns on the ground in a blowout win.
But the running game was stifled against South Florida. Once that well had dried up and the turnovers kicked in -- two interceptions and a fumble -- it presented a whole new set of issues for the senior......

Three FSU DTs are day to day after sustaining injuries in the game against The Citadel.
Starters Eddie Goldman and Nile Lawrence-Stample, as well as reserve Justin Shanks, all have not practiced since the game Saturday... lower body injuries. Oh yeah.. The Citadel runs the triple option.

ACC playoff watch: Week 3 (ESPN: Hale)

Where the ACC stands: After a perfect week against nonconference foes and an implosion by the Big Ten, the ACC jumped into the No. 4 spot in the latest ESPN conference power rankings. The conference increased its rating 7.2 points — by far the best week of any FBS league. The problem for the conference, however, is that there still aren’t a ton of teams widely considered elite, with Florida State checking in at No. 4 in ESPN’s Football Power Index, but no other team ranked higher than 17th.

Top playoff contenders: FSU (No. 1 AP poll, No. 4 FPI), Virginia Tech (17/28), Louisville (21/31), Clemson (23/17), Pitt (NR, 25).

Nonconference record: 20-3 overall (11-0 last week), 8-3 vs. FBS, 2-2 vs. Power 5

"They were all bombs," Lester said. McDonald looked at Lester and said, “That’s a good sign.”

Lester also said all 4 quarterbacks will travel with team this weekend. Expected all 4 to travel when roster is trimmed to 72 in ACC play.

Edouard's delayed enrollment has little impact on recruiting QBs. SU never srsly looked at 2015, and will still take (at least) 1 in 2016.

Chuck Bullough said Corey Winfield and Juwan Dowels are still competing this week in practice for 4th CB spot

Lester also said all 4 quarterbacks will travel with team this weekend. Expected all 4 to travel when roster is trimmed to 72 in ACC play.

Didn't know the ACC had a limit for the travel squad.
