Get To See Jameis Winston in the Dome Next Fall

He won't be the best QB to ever play in the Dome. He might be at the bottom of a Top 10 list, but not the best.

He might be the best within the past decade, but not the best ever

That is silly. He is easily a top 10 qb we will ever see here, and probably top 3 or 4 opposing qb's to come in here. He won the Heisman in a LANDSLIDE. He is legit. He will be the #1 pick in the NFL draft next year.

Cant wait for him to come to the Dome. Should be a rare sell out.

Will he be the best QB to ever make an appearance in the Carrier Dome?

I have seen Doug Flutie, Dan Marino, Tony Eason, Teddy Bridgewater, Oliver Luck, Gino Torretta, Michael Vick, Sandy Schwab, Alex Van Pelt, Shane Matthews and of course Donovan McNabb, Todd Philcox, Marvin Graves and Donnie McPherson.

Who am I forgetting?

Brady, McNabb and Vick played in the dome.

He needs to go a long way to pass any of those guys.

grandma stayed longer than mcnamarras band did.

the nepa folk all came on a bus and 4 years later all left on the same bus.

Winston seems likely to trump Brady college wise. Major Harris to me was one of the scariest QBs, magnified by his seemingly seven years of eligibility.

He will be the second Heisman QB I'll see in the Dome after Doug Flutie.

And he will be the No. 1 pick in the draft next year. He's a freak who will likely play MLB as well as pro football.

He will likely be the best we have ever seen in the Dome at the college level.

NO NFL QB will be allowed to play MLB at the same time, just wont happen

yeah, but Flutie was his FR and JR years, not even the Heisman season.

you probably saw Dorsett too as FR & JR.

this is way different.

Yes, I saw Dorsett at Archbold.

still cant believe Cam Dantley was our qb

I thought he was pretty good actually.

I was on the field for the Pitt game at Heinz Field when he came in and nearly won the game for us - he looked very good to me that day.

I was pretty surprised when Marrone pretty much dismissed him as a starter.

Were you at the Miami game in the early 90's when they were #1? Torreta won the Heisman that year.

They weren't QBs.

Yes, I know that.

And I understand the notion that QBs are treated differently.

But, Bo Jackson was the No. 1 pick in the Draft and Deion was the most dominant cover corner in the history of the game.

I would not be surprised at all if Jameis were allowed to play both. If I could get him - as an NFL team - by agreeing to allow it, I would do it.

Ah yes, of course.

Forgot about Gino.

Yes, I was there.

Professionally, sure, but collegiately he's right there if not better.

Winston is 1 million times better as a college qb that Brady was. That might be selling him short too...

Won't get to see him. Hear they're moving the FSU game to Toronto as part of an SU/Bills Saturday/Sunday doubleheader.
(Announcement coming right after Oklahoma to the Big Ten press conference.)

That is pay side info you are leaking!!! Should change your name to orangesnowden!!

Didn't the elder Dantley totally diss Cuse after that? Or was that Cam?

This is a weird thread. A lot of reluctance to give Winston his due. He's a phenomenal QB.

Agreed.

As good as I have seen at the college level.

When the season began, I thought Teddy Bridgewater was the best QB in college football - Jameis is better by a mile.
