The numbers in 2 years are pretty crazy program wise but look at the recruiting just using ESPN

we are playing with 2014 recruits Phillips(77), Ish(74), Custis(76)

2015 no recruits see the field
2016 Butler (77) Riley (75)

2017 Johnson (78), Bishop(78) johnson (78) jordan (76) all but 1 didnt really see the field
2018 hendrix (80), Harris (78), Queeley (75)

thats 7 guys rated the same or higher than we have produced with and the 5 best recruits at that position we have had in almost 10 yrs.

Amaba was a (76) at maryland.

just for reference (man have we struggled to get WR) a decade of avg..

2009 (lemon (71)
2010 fleming (78) west (77)
2011 reddish (76)
2012 AC (74) lewis (73)
2013 cooper (78), avant (72) winfield (70)

2015. Yikes

Interesting that Lemon was rated that low. I feel like he got on the field early on and was solid all along and steadily got better.

Higher rated WR’s, OL’s and QB than we’ve had in years coming into a system that will be fully humming and that they were handpicked for. Future is so bright!

what is lemon up to these days? His dad used to post here regularly.
Alec works at MHD-Rockland in Maryland. And maybe trying to stay in shape for another shot.

Why don't we have any upper 80s or 90s recruits? You're going to get at least 10 catches a game and a million yards and touchdowns please come here.

It'll happen.

How did any comparable rating recruits do over that time span? SU needs guys that can run routes and catch balls at a decent speed. Somebody will be open especially if the TE doesn't have to pass block. Imagine if the RB can swing out too? If this OL turns out as good as they seem to be with more coming, blocking with 5 will be heck for every team that plays SU. Love to have one of the freshmen or redshirt freshmen simply stun us with how good he is while the returning guys get better.
