I wonder how much we paid to get Fran Brown?

We've never been elaborate spenders to get talented coaches, and it seems to me that is required to win like most on here hope for. I know our new coach is young and a great recruiter, especially with Georgia, but how much do we value him in dollars?

And, If he's successful, can we keep him? Are we willing to increase his salary to what it will take to keep him?

Otherwise, it seems like this is an exercise in disappointment and failure.

Guessing around the $3mil you mention, four year contract, one with escalation clauses and substantial bonuses up toward $4.5-5 million in total in there if they make the ACC championship game (more if they win) and more if they make the college playoffs. Probably bonuses for bringing in four or five stars as well.

The $3 million figure allows for competitive salaries for the OC and the DC. At least that’s what I would do, and hope is happening
