Was just checking out the RPI standings HERE, and I noticed something pretty remarkable, aside from our #1 ranking and #3 SOS:
The RPI rating for #1 SU is .7042
The RPI rating for #4 MSU is .6484
= a difference of .0558
...
To see another gap that large you would have to extend all the way to Marshall @ #47! In other words, SU is considered equally better than the #4 ranked team Michigan St. ... as Michigan St. is considered better than #47 Marshall. I can't remember ever seeing such a separation of the top teams.
