1.) We need to slow the game wayyyy down and dominate time of possession. Seems obvious enough.

2.) We need to run the ball into the ground. If we are going to win this game we need to have success running the ball. Our line needs to create some push and we need to play Fredericks more than any other running back.

3.) Mahoney, perhaps the biggest key to the game. Based on the small sampling size from the CMU game he seems to be able to run the option well and from all reports he is a pretty sharp, smart kid. Needs to make smart plays and try to limit turnovers

4.) The Defense, especially the secondary. We are obviously going to give up points against a great LSU team but we need to limit them. Try to take away the run as much as possible and force them to throw as there QB is not a "great" passer. We need to win the turnover battle, plain and simple more possessions for us is less possessions for them which equals more opportunities.

5.) Lastly, special teams. Our kick coverage needs to be spot on and Cole Murphy needs to be on point Saturday. He is going to get opportunities and needs to connect. We cannot leave any points off the board. Also, Brisly needs to try and make something returning kicks. Returning punts and kicks for TD's are huge momentum boosters.

GO ORANGE!!!

We didn't win Time of Possession vs. Wake Forest or Central Michigan but we will versus the best back in the country?

We need at least one non offensive score

We need at least a +3 turnover margin with at least one turnover in their territory/scoring territory

Consistent defensive line penetration. If we give their backs more than 2 steps consistently before they get hit we will #1 not tackle them and #2 probably end up with someone dinged up.

I cant help but think this will be Mahoney come saturday

you can lose time of possession if you keep making big plays but you cant stop controlling the clock and not get first downs too..

recruit a ton of talent, esp on both lines and in the secondary, that can develop into top tier players in the next 2 years so we can git em down in the red stick in '17 the week after we decimate CMU

Food poisoning

defense has been very good to us creating TO'S and even some points first few games. i'd say 3 TO's and a score to stay close.

Overconfidence by LSU. Poor game planning by the same. For instance, they were probably game planning against our first string QB at the start of the season. Surprise! Good luck planning against our fifth string! There ain't enough film!

Pull a Ny Giants in super bowl 25 and control the clock, limit their possessions, and hope they panic a little as a heavy favorite.

The biggest key to beating LSU is hoping Leonard Fournette misses the flight.

At least +3 TO margin, defensive/ST score, few penalties that stall our drives or lengthen there drives, epic line play, and a solid dose of luck

Just a little insight on our defensive strength and weakness so far this year.

Our run defense has been very good so far this year.

Our corners and safeties have been very good so far this year.

We have given up most of our yards and scoring drives, with short intermediate dump passes. They have been wide open. Those 4 to 8 yard passes over the middle have been giving us fits.

Well then you are in luck, because the middle of the field is like molten lava to our receivers and we don't go there.

you would think your coaches have watched the tape, this could be the week. Especially with an inexperienced qb, may be some easy pass plays for him. I do hope we have fixed this issue.

My hope is that our new offensive coordinator is able to adjust week to week, unlike the last one we had.

If we see option football on Saturday, however, I will know it's more of the same.

What? You will see some option. And it if it's just marginally successful - it will open up even more for the passing game.

If our entire game plan is dink and dunk, might as well fold it up.

You have to a few things successfully if you want to win.
