It took him a loooooong time to wake up to the importance of FOs and how half the lacrosse world had passed SU by, but wake up bigtime he has.

What a change though in overall coaching philosophy regarding the importance of the face-off specialist.In terms of improvement, this position has largely been ignored for the last 4 years costing us 2 national championships. (In 2011 we were a number 1 seed and got destroyed at the x during quarterfinal ot loss to Maryland). Thinking the upturn in face-off recruits is related to Lelan Rogers (probably their best recruiter) since he recently took over coaching the position.
