Seems silly to argue over who to blame. ND had the better coach, more talent, better coaching and better execution. They're a top-5 team and we're not really a top-15 team. When we bring our A-game against a top-5 team that does not bring theirs, we can give them a game. Today we didn't bring our A-game and Notre Dame brought at least their B game.

We had a lucky run, but realistically we're somewhere between 20th and 40th best. It was a fun few weeks, and hopefully we can finish strong and stay ranked to finish the season and Dino can keep building.

Plus when things are going like this, at some point having your guy out there getting his butt kicked becomes counterproductive. This isn’t doing anything good for him.

Plus it wouldn’t be a bad thing for Chance to get on the field a little now, giving him some field experience before spring ball and QB competition heats up. He’d be going in fresh at least.
