Being able to see the top kids in the farm and having the respect of Cashman established, maybe his word on some of the top prospects in the farm system might be able to jump up to the 25 man roster sooner than later. I'm thinking of Aaron Judge in particular.

Here is a better one. Chavez could be the next NYY manager. If he sees players he rates highly he will make sure he gets them there for him. Giardi isn't that secure in his job regardless of his contract I always liked Chavez as a player. His demeanor was always consistent regardless of his health issues with his back.
