"Our leader said that we'll evaluate this at the end of the season," Little said. "So be it. Who am I to second-guess that? He's the boss, and he'll evaluate what's right for Syracuse University at the end of the season." --Floyd Little

Does this mean Floyd disagrees with Coyle? So ambiguous. It's odd that of all the comments to finally be made by the AD's office, this is the one.

The "so be it" does make it seem like Floyd doesn't agree with Coyle. But, it could be just a "matter of fact" statement from him.

I think Floyd was just saying, he's the boss and so be it. Meaning, I am not commenting any further because that is the way it is going to go because I am not the boss here

I bet that Floyd is really conflicted here. He wants a winner....like me an old timer.....and he just can't get over the poor decision making and play calling. Before we die we just want a winner so bad...

I heard Floyd took SU's early retirement, so if he's in his final couple of months, his comments make sense.

I think your AD is doing the right thing here. If y'all are in a competition/bidding war for a coach then how the AD handles things when a bad season comes along will mean a lot to prospective coaches. All these schools that got the jump by firing early also have to live with the reputation of being a school that fires a coach in the middle of a season. I believe you're getting leg up on the competition by handling your business in a class way and treating people right. Something Maryland doesn't have a clue how to do.

I really don't see any choice but to keep him until the end. Think about it, who would be in charge? It's just a bunch of Shaf's buddies who are barely qualified for their jobs now.

I also dislike the way the handled the last one and let GRob finish out. If your going to can a guy mid-season escort him to the door.

Trying to read something into Floyd's statement regarding what Coyle will do at season's end is a fool's errand. The most we can take away from his statement is that the AD won't be making any kind of decision until this season has played out. And that would be a wise move IMHO. Rational vs emotional.
