it runs from the north side right by Destiny through the city center down through the south side. It’s the blue water running from the harbor on this map through the city all the way to the Lafayette area south of Syracuse.

They have put fences up around most of the creek especially in the numerous residential areas but it’s still pretty accessible in many areas if you really want to enter it. It’s not really a swimmable creek at all.

No one is really willingly going in there for a swim or anything like that. It's usually moving at a pretty good clip, especially after a good rain storm or when snow is melting.
