No surprises here, decent run blocking, terrible pass blocking.

Bleich - high average
Ellis - average
Bradford - average
Reed - low average
Petry - below average

Pass blocking
Reed - average
Bleich - average
Cruz - poor
Petry - poor
Ellis - very poor
Bradford - below very poor

Best offensive player - Villari
Best defensive player - Barron

Shoutout to Okechukwu who had his best game of the season and was barely beat out by Barron for the highest defensive grade.

I didn’t know “below very poor” was even conceivable. Yikes.

My eyes and these grades tell me we should run the ball more.

Naked eye….Petry was the one that stuck out to me as abysmal.
That’s because they took Bradford out.

Question for the staff, do you sit Petry and play More at tackle.

Bradford and Petry have stepped up and improved and helped get the team to 4-0, but I don’t think they are two of the five best on the team.

Petry got abused yesterday, but against NFL caliber talent.

He and Bradford have done yeoman's work, given the injury situation. "Two of the five best on the team" is different from "available to play." We're fortunate that they were able to step in and be solid, with Ellis / More being out through yesterday and Wohlabaugh going down early.

Will be interesting to see whether More is better than Petry at RT, or whether he's overmatched there, as well, in terms of being able to move his feet.

Wohlabaugh's injury was a big loss.

Oh look, terrible grades for the OL on the pass blocking.

The run blocking is eh at best.

Ellis was not far behind. On pass blocking he looked like the middle turnstile at an arena

Ha. The scale only goes down to 30. The 30’s is very poor. So when your grade is below 30…..

A shoutout also to Bleich. For the season he is our highest graded OL in both run and pass blocking. After all his injury issues I’m happy for him that he’s finding some success.

Some of the pass blocking issues are also Shrader doesnt trust anything.. He bailed on several and caused the rush to be even worse..

We dont run well enough to just be a running team.

I would really like to know whether SHrader is hitting his reads because there were guys open but he seldom went that way.

If give him any time vs UNC its a very winnable game.
