Pittsburgh Restaurant/Bar Recommendations

Hi all - I'm heading to Pittsburgh this Friday for a quick overnight trip with my wife. Should get in around lunchtime on Friday and head out after lunch on Saturday. I've never been before so I'm looking for some recommendations on places to eat/drink. We are staying at the Distrikt Hotel downtown, so places somewhat nearby would be best.

Meat and Potatoes (downtown) and Eleven (Strip District) are my two favorite restaurants near where you'll be staying. And (pre-Covid at least? it's been awhile) it's a good downtown for roaming around and finding friendly bars to put down a few before moving on.

Excellent cigar and whiskey bar down near Heinz (or whatever its called now). Burn - think its a Rocky Patel chain.
