Good pickup for the Nationals, however this could also end up biting them in the ass seeing how they lose a draft pick to the Yanks and have to pay 14 a year! Hard to argue this deal with the Nationals need for bullpen help and what Soriano will bring to the table. As a Yankee fan I wish him goodluck and I will happily take the compensation pick.

Soriano was a kind of strange guy with his game. If he wanted to throw hard he was somewhat effective.When he came in with his slider or curve he was hittable.We can do without him. Let some kids come up and try their stuff in the bigs.If the Yankees are serious about trading Logan for a bat the kids will be needed to show up.
