Class of 2024 RB Yasin Willis (NJ) COMMITTED / SIGNED NLI TO SYRACUSE (12/10/23)

Thing(s) I like about Willis...ooops "What chu talkin' about Willis?" ...couldn't let that one go by.
Willis has the quick, nimble feet and balance...
Dohn will have a hard time dohn-grading this one...
Power AND speed. We’ve been missing the power part. These kids are are all big and strong. Next level recruits.

Yasin, welcome

Allen is more power than speed despite his size so I will disagree here.

Agreed 144%.

For a “small” dude, LeQuint pushes the pile, and almost always seems to fall forward after contact.

He doesn’t have that top gear like (a healthy) Bad Mutha Tucker did.
Has been caught from behind on the majority of his long runs.

But yes - a 220+ dude is gonna bring the boom moreso then a 200 pounder.
It’s just physics.

Yasin looks like the complete package. Day 1 starter in my opinion.

Would have to go back to Delone Carter 5-10 215, Walter Reyes 5-10 213, or Rhodes 6-0 213 for a back that big who moves that well.

Yasin at 6-3 218 is bigger and looks to have a better combination of speed and power.

We haven’t had a back rated this high since Reyes, Rhodes and Carter and Yasin is rated higher than all of them. #1 in NJ and the #12 RB in the country. Might have to go back to Mungro and Brinkley

Reyes 5-10 213

Rhodes 6-0 213

Mungro 5-10 212

6-3 218# is closer to Drummond's size.

Dudes built differently. He is day 1 D1 ready. As others eluded he is at the same HS as estime from ND went to… and he actually physically is very similar, and I think we all remember what he did to us in the dome…., this is the type of player that changes games. Think of Clemson 2018, how did we lose? By Clemson having a bruiser back who wore us down and ran us over. Travis etienne is his name. This is as legit a prospect physically on the offensive side of the ball as I’ve seen us grab in a long time. Day 1 RB2.

Its crazy how different he is rated on rivals versus anywhere else. top 15 RB on rivals, top 200 overall, #1 in NJ to as low as 91st RB, NA for National and 21st in NJ on ON3

Crazy
