Here is what we have so far (taken from Scout, Rvls and 2-4-7- ESPN is usually a summary of those Skout and Rvls). We can update this list as the class progresses.

Notes:

Zaire Franklin was drafted in the 7th round, 235th Pick of the 2018 NFL Draft by the Indianapolis Colts.

Chris Slayton was drafted in the 7th round, 245th Pick of the 2019 NFL Draft by the NY Giants.

Steve Ishmael signed as a FA with the Indianapolis Colts in 2018, after going undrafted in the 2018 NFL Draft.

Ervin Phillips signed as a FA with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2018, after going undrafted in the 2018 NFL Draft.

Parris Bennett signed as a FA with the Green Bay Packers in 2018, after going undrafted in the 2018 NFL Draft.

Jamal Custis signed as a FA with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2019, after going undrafted in the 2019 NFL Draft.

Jonathan Thomas graduated in 2018.

Aaron Roberts graduated in 2019.

Antwan Cordy graduated in 2020.

Adly Enoicy left Syracuse to transfer as a Graduate Student, but I can not locate any record of him surfacing at another school.

Jalen Harvey transferred after his Redshirt Freshman season to West Virginia.

Rodney Williams transferred to Temple as a Graduate Student.

Kayton Samuels transferred to Indiana as a Graduate Student.

Cordell Hudson transferred as a Graduate student to MTSU to play for former coach Scott Shafer.

Juwan Dowels transferred as a Graduate student to Western Michigan.

Corey Cooper did not qualify academically in the 2013 class, went to Prep school and recommitted to Syracuse for the 2014 class. He subsequently left the program after his freshman season and transferred to a junior college.

Alin Eduoard did not qualify academically, went to a few junior colleges, and eventually transferred to UTSA.

Colton Moskal transferred after his redshirt freshman season to UPenn.

AJ Long transferred after his sophomore season to Wagner, and then eventually transferred again to West Chester.

Lamar Dawson never enrolled due to a medical issue, played JUCO ball at Mt Sac and eventually enrolled at Utah State.

KJ Williams did not qualify academically and did not resurface anywhere, to my knowledge.

Treevon Prater did not qualify academically and went JUCO. I do not believe he went on to play at BCS level school.

Denzel Ward was medically disqualified during his redshirt freshman season.

Wayne Williams was dismissed after his junior year for violation of team rules.

Naesan Howard, well, this:

were really going to have to continue the strong class. if you havent been following ACC recruiting, the conference is doing extremely well. i believe there are 6 schools in the top 25. UVA is only in the 20's but they have 2 consensus national top 10 recruits. all these schools bring in multiple 4 star recruits, and plenty of high 3 stars a class.

With 8 recruits now, what do you think the chances are of having a comparable class?

Remember when schools were receiving five to 10 recruits a week? Well, that’s not happening anymore. Most teams’ lists are beginning to fill out, and in the Atlantic Division, the only teams without double-digit commitments are Wake Forest and Syracuse, which each have eight.
Boston College

Richard Wilson committed to becoming a “dude” after coach Steve Addazio found him flying under the radar.
Clemson

Justin Falcinelli is the newest commitment on Clemson’s list, and with a 3.9 GPA and a membership with the National Honor Society this consensus three-star recruit is smart one too.
Florida State

The Seminoles have only picked up one commitment in the last couple weeks, but four-star ATH Treon Harris might just prove to be one of FSU’s biggest commits yet.
N.C. State

The Wolfpack could very well be close to done recruiting considering the large 22-member list of commitments it already has.
Syracuse

The Orange may not have many recruits, but with the addition of four-star WR K.J. Williams, Syracuse just might have received its best commitment yet.
Wake Forest

The Demon Deacons were the only team to gain more than one commitment since our last update. They’ve doubled their list since last time with most notably the addition of Isaiah Robinson.

The ACC Football Kickoff was last weekend, but that doesn’t mean that class of 2014 recruits weren’t still committing to their schools of choice. Miami and North Carolina have gained four and three commitments, respectively, since our last update. For last week’s update on the Atlantic Division, check here.
All recruit names will appear in bold.
Duke

The Blue Devils landed the No. 52 rated QB in the nation in Nicodem Pierre.
Georgia Tech

There are questions surrounding where new Yellow Jacket commit Michael Preddy will play. He can play both offense and defense.
Miami

Miami has picked up four recruits, two of which are from Booker T. Washington in Florida. Consensus four-star DE Chad Thomas who was the defensive line MVP at The Opening combine.
North Carolina

The Tar Heels picked up three recruits since our last update, most notably four-star OL Bentley Spain. ESPN touts Spain as the 11th-best OL in the nation and 10th-best recruit in North Carolina.
Pittsburgh

The Panthers added two recruits to their class including three-star recruit Phillipie Motley from Ohio.
Virginia

The Cavaliers have few recruits, but they still have two consensus five-star commitments.
Virginia Tech

Four-star DB Javon Harrison still leads a strong class of 2014 Hokie commitments.

With 8 recruits now, what do you think the chances are of having a comparable class?
Considering the guys we are after id say we will be close to middle of the pack maybe slightly below . I do like that the staff has got a bunch of the kids they considered priorities even if they aren't as highly rated as some other kids. There is nothing wrong with what we are doing there is just a lot of high end talent committed to our new league opponents

No matter how well we think we are doing, we must consider how well we recruit compared to our competitors in the ACC. That is ultimately the bench mark IMO.

By what standard though? Stars? Rankings?

I prefer to gauge "are we getting the main guys we're after?"

I have to think that is the gauge. There are probably more, but other then Klock i don't recall who we have lost out on after we have zeroed in on them. All we can do is trust the evaluations of our coaching staff.

The vast majority of the commits are guys that were offered in that Apr-Jun period or before that had commitable offers. Only Williams I believe was a camp offer. That at least tells me that the 10 we have so far were high on the staff's board, for better or for worse.

Shute and Bronson were 2 kids we wanted who we've lost out on but this is hard to pin down because there's guys who we assuredly wanted that wouldn't give us the time of day and there's kids like Jennings who visited us, put us in a top ten and chose some one else.

However we seem to be doing well closing on kids who have us on their short list. We'll know a bit more about how we close when Witter and Roberts decide. Sykes to. But I wouldn't count any kid being lost who doesn't even visit here in some capacity.

Maybe they are not done yet recruiting WRs..

It looks good to me so far but lacking two units that require more talent. The O-line and secondary are the units I firmly believe need quality and numbers. I'm guessing Naesean Howard is looking at the SS spot which might be good.Rodney Williams seems weak in interest by other programs so I'm guessing he is either akid under the radar or overrated by our staff.Any thoughts?

We're focusing on Florida for CB talent this year and are heavily involved with a few guys that will decide in January. So you may need to be patient on that one.

OL is a huge question mark to me - I figured we'd take 4 this year and so far we have 1 and I don't have a clue who else is seriously in the picture.

if we offer this kid i worry about where we stand with Ishmael (or cooper isn't going to qualify)
