Regardless of them being fictional some shows are deeply missed---

--when their run ends e.g. Downton Abbey"Friends Cheers All in the Family and Mash. Views become invested inter characters,voices. et al.We know they aren't real to us but they still invoke a sadness when they go off the air. Its an interesting social commentary IMHO.Some remain on the air with their shows broadcast on cable but its not the same thingWe know the characters have been fully expanded and where they are going.Whe"The Big Bang Theory goes it will affect those invested in those characters and the development of same. Its just a thought. Its not intended to create controversy of any kind like this election year's travesty.

I wish I could watch LOST again and have it all be new again. On the flipside I started watching X-Files from the beginning and I'm loving it. I've forgotten a lot of the stuff and in some ways it is like seeing it again new.
