Remember John O'korn?

Yeah I saw that, good for him. If I recall correctly he was committed to Houston when we swooped in and tried to steal him. He decided to stay loyal to Houston and was rewarded with an opportunity to start and has been successful thus far.

Correct

Well, he is having a good year, but he probably wouldn't have been starting so soon if not for their junior QB having to quit the game due to concussions, he started week one, not sure when he was concussed for the last time. There was a story about him (piland) on ESPN earlier this week.

That's unfortunate for the kid (piland). Always sucks when injuries force you out of the game you love.

is anyone watching O'Korn light up Rutgers? 4 td's in the 1st half. this kid can play. Let's hope our qb evaluations of Long and Edouard are similar

Rutgers pass defense is worse then ours, Houston is doing whatever they want in the air.

Watching the true freshman O'Korn put in work makes me wonder more and more if Wilson or Kimble would be a better choice for our QB.

I wish we had that big wr that Houston has. I think we're the only d1 school with d1aa wr's

Tell me you just saw the phantom chop block called on Houston.

Even there backup WR's look light years ahead of ours. I really hope we finally see some new blood next Saturday, enough Kobena and Clark.

ya but there is a huge difference of O'Korn playing at Aquinas and Kimble at Jerseyville. No comparison in the level of competition

Not a great sequence the last minute there for Houston, jesus. They had third and 40.

Houston has a great offense, scheme and solid wide receivers. O Korn was wise for sticking to his commitment. Why red shirt in an unproven offense?

A good QB at aquinas and we were in on him???

I would've wrote his dad the check.

Oh Lord

Big time home cooking calls on that drive though. Phantom chop block, phantom hold and then a bs intentional grounding call. Wow

If you wanna watch something to make you sick watch UVA hangin with gt. I'm more pissed off with our staff right now than I was last weekend.

we tried getting in late after Allen flipped. we probably would have had a shot if we got in earlier, but surprisingly a kid wanted to live up to his commitment

Theres no sugarcoating the staffs performance, they have been awful. Three blowout losses and last weeks was the worst of them all. The wheels are close to coming off. By the way UVA just scored a TD, must be nice.

there was another poster on a different site who said they were friends with someone associated with the GT staff, and said it was by far the worst defensive game plan they have ever seen. They knew it was over after the first 3 plays, and kept waiting for them to make adjustments, especially at half, and they didn't change a thing the whole game. Sure it's just another poster saying it, but this poster has always had solid information.

Per the broadcast, he had a lot of offers / late interest (Miss. St. Kentucky, etc.) -- so to think it was SU vs. UH is inaccurate.

And you'd be a bit wrong.
