Aww, damn. I watch Cheers every night to wind down for bed. She was wonderful in that role, after Shelly Long was just as great, but entirely different. I don’t remember her movie roles, other than Star Trek, but I also loved her playing ‘herself’ in the Fat Actress series. Really funny woman.

I was sad to see her political ’perspectives’ in recent years. This is sadder, still.

Didn’t know about her illness.

I first saw her in the ABC TV mini-series "North and South", she was a versatile actress.
