Seemed like a nice guy. Funny how hands down the worst thing didn’t even make the headline. I don’t care about him performing drunk, and cursing at fans is forgivable, but I draw the line at nazi salutes.

Back in the day, I was in Poughkeepsie staying at a hotel with a co-worker. We were the only two people in the hotel bar and then the guys from Smash Mouth came in with a couple others. My buddy knew them but I had no clue. Their cd was on the bar jukebox so a couple of their "girlfriends" played a few of their songs. It was a very uneventful evening. You never would have known they were semi-famous musicians. Just some random dudes exhausted from the grind of the road, like many others who travel for work.
