sweaty ned in BODY HEAT. classic. always enjoyed his roles. always underplayed and clever. never over the top. if you're my generation and watched THE BIG CHILL with friends the question after over beers was always "which character do you most identify with". i was a HURT.

Anyone ever read about his time on Midnight Rider, or see the footage?

They were filming this Greg Allman biopic and there was a scene on a train track - the director, etc...were awful or inexperienced, like a combination, and filmed in spite of the railroad saying NO.

Train came while they were on the bridge filming. Bad things followed. It's all on film., but more of just an interesting legal case, and how the director was reckless and didn't much care about placing everyone in harm's way.

Body Heat was a very good movie. Well written and a great cast. Kathleen Turner, William Hurt, Ted Danson, Richard Crenna and Mickey Rourke. They all filled their roles well.
