Completely serious, or am I delusionally optimistic like every other year? We'll know in about 3 months

Cuse 37, Villanova 17
Cuse 41, cmu 10
Cuse 28, md 21
Cuse 24, nd 21
Cuse 31, Lville 17
FSU 31, Cuse 17
Cuse 45, wake 21
Clemson 31, Cuse 21
Cuse 35, nc state 14
Cuse 24, duke 21
Cuse 28, Pitt 24
Cuse 35, BC 17

A legit 10-2, corner now completely turned and in the rear view mirror.

Go Orange!

i dont think hunt is the key to anything. on a scale of 1-10 he played at about a 6 most of last year. he threw at about a 5 and ran at times at a a 7-8 it could be argued that Allen played at close to the same level but never ran and his bad plays hurt us more than Hunts bad plays.

I think our backups could play as well as Allen and probably a couple would run much better than he ever did. A healthy and improved Hunt can mean we get better results, but until I see it on the field who knows.. I dont think what we got in the BC/Bowl game other than running i enough of a passing threat to get us to 8 wins. If he has made that leap to an Avg throwing qb and still runs when needed then 8 is what we should get.

I think the upside on throwing for all the backups is a higher ceiling then Hunts.

Villanova: Win 25-14
@CMU: Win 21-16
Maryland: Win 27-24
Notre Dame: Loss 21-35
Louisville: Win 41-27
Florida State: Loss 13-45
@Wake Forest: Win 24-19
@Death Valley: Loss 21-38
NC State: Win 35-6
Duke: Win 28-17
@Pitt: Win 31-24 OT
@BC: Win 41-28

So I guess that equals 9-3 which surprises me because I was thinking a 7 win season before I went game by game.

7-5 overall, 4-4 ACC

Leading rusher: PTG, 755 yards
Leading receiver: Broyld, 46 catches

(I think rushing and receiving are going to be spread out a lot this year)

Nova 55-10
CMU 38-17
Maryland 31-20
ND 24-14
Louisville 45-17
Fla St 35-34 SHOCK THE WORLD!
Wake 35-10
Clemson 31-28
NC State 42-17
Duke 28-13
Pitt 21-7
BC 42-6

Why the hell not? 12-0

7-5

Games with no shot-Florida St
Major upset would be needed- Clemson and ND
Game where we will be a solid dog- Duke and Louisville
Toss up games- Pitt, BC and Maryland
Games we should win-NC State, Wake, and Central Mchigan
Automatic-Villanova

I think we win two out the the three toss ups and beat either Louisville or Duke for a very respectable 7 win season. If Ishmael or Flemming establish themselves as a good solid option 8 wins is possible.

9-3

Notes:
5-0 start has us in the top 25 until we are rightly destroyed by FSU (but there is no hangman on the sideline).
We take loss out on a turrible Wake team by 35+.
We lose a heartbreaker @ Clemson.
We lose @ Pitt somehow (but could easily see us lose to Duke at home and win at Pitt - Atlantic is a clusterF)
