Where the game will be won: Goaltending. Both keepers are capable and playing well right now. Bobby Wardwell of the Orange had one of his best outings of the season against UNC in the ACC semifinals but has been average since. Blue Jay Eric Schneider has played his two best games of the year since Syracuse on March 14 against Ohio State and Virginia with the season on the line in both. A Wardwell save in the fourth period in that game helped turn a 10-10 tie into a 13-10 Syracuse win. In a game where face-offs and midfield defense are also big story lines that one save at the right moment could be the deciding factor.
