Serena Williams loses in semi-finals at US Open

I'm in shock at this. She breezed through the first set that Vinci took over after that. She had some chances in the 3rd set but couldn't overcome it. It's too bad she won't win all the major titles this year.

I have never been a Serena fan, but I have certainly come to admire her skills and tenacity. I am not upset that she lost, but I wish it would have been to a fellow Ameican such as Madison Keys who seems to be knocking on the door.

Feel terrible for Serena. I was so hoping to see an American take all of the Grand Slams in one year. As bad as it must feel for her, her legacy is intact.
